eFootball 2027 Italian League Ranking Show Time players discussed: Review, Best

If you’re reading this while the Italian League Ranking event is still going on in eFootball 2027, chances are you’re already grinding away for those points. And there’s a pretty good reason to do so, with more than 700,000 ranked players set to receive a Chance Deal once the rankings are settled.

The catch, of course, is that you only get one draw, so there’s no guarantee which player you’ll end up with. The pool features Mike Maignan, Manuel Locatelli, Mikel Oyarzabal, Morgan Gibbs-White, Marc Guéhi, and Giuliano Simeone as the Italian League Show Time picks in eFootball 2027.

I’ve already spent some time looking through these players and their in-game numbers using their player IDs, so I have a decent idea of what each card brings to the table. While we can’t choose who the Chance Deal gives us, we can at least figure out which cards are worth getting excited about and which ones you’d probably rather avoid, again all luck.

So, here’s my ranking of all six Italian League Ranking Show Time players, along with the card I’d consider the luckiest pull if you manage to get it from your Chance Deal.

Marc Guehi

• Position: CB
• Attacking Playing Style: Build Up
• Defensive Playing Style: High Line Master
• Show Time Skills: Fortress and Shadow Hunt

This is easily the pick of the lot for me, and I know many of you are requesting or testing your luck specifically to pull this Guehi, and I admit, I am kinda doing the same. Shadow Hunt is a really fantastic addition because it can improve his speed when he gets caught off guard, and I also really like his player model when I tried his recent POTW version.

He can be a very solid Maldini replacement or a backup if you haven’t pulled the Italian star. I’d imagine a free card getting a Long Reach Tackle would have just made players go insane, so KONAMI played it smart and gave Fortress to him.

Suggested Booster: Aerial Block

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Marc Guehi

Giuliano Simeone

• Position: RMF
• Attacking Playing Style: Cross Specialist
• Defensive Playing Style: All-action Defender
• Show Time Skills: Acceleration Burst and Edged Crossing

Getting two Show Time skills on this Simeone makes him a really fun card to look at, especially with Acceleration Burst fitting his aggressive style perfectly. I know not many are keen to get this guy, but I can say he looks like a great option to cover the flank.

Something to note is that he also gets All-action Defender as his secondary style, so he’s going to run and press to get the ball back without your movement, very important to come on as a sub. I’d have loved his crossing ability to be a tad bit higher, but still this should be a very enjoyable card.

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Giuliano Simeone

Mike Maignan

• Position: GK
• Attacking Playing Style: Offensive Goalkeeper
• Defensive Playing Style: NA
• Show Time Skills: GK Spirit Roar

I know many of you probably aren’t considering this Maignan because there are plenty of goalkeepers who can do the job well, but he is actually a really nice option. I have tried his previous Featured cards, and he has always worked well for me; the shorter arm length with his Player ID is definitely a concern when it comes to reach, but if you pull him, he is still easily usable and can be a very solid goalkeeper.

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Mike Maignan

Morgan Gibbs-White

• Position: AMF
• Attacking Playing Style: Hole Player
• Defensive Playing Style: Pass Disruptor
• Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Pass

Gibbs-White is another really interesting card, especially if you like your AMFs to combine creativity with the ability to make forward runs. Phenomenal Pass alongside Pass Disruptor gives him a nice balance between creating chances and also trying to stick his leg out to get the ball back, and hence AMF/SS options looks sorted.

Suggested Booster: Striker’s Instinct

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Morgan Gibbs-White

Mikel Oyarzabal

• Position: CF
• Attacking Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
• Defensive Playing Style: Front Line Pressure
• Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Finishing

Oyarzabal looks like a very complete forward, but I know a lot of them got his old eFootball Points Shop card. Phenomenal Finishing is a great addition to his Deep-Lying Forward profile. He doesn’t have a weakness for that creator SS role, but he surely isn’t the best either.

Suggested Booster: Striker’s Instinct

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Mikel Oyarzabal

Manuel Locatelli

• Position: DMF
• Attacking Playing Style: Orchestrator
• Defensive Playing Style: Pass Disruptor
• Show Time Skills: Attack Trigger

Now, here’s another favorite. Locatelli is probably one of the more underrated cards in this draw, because the combination of Orchestrator and Pass Disruptor gives him a very useful role from midfield. Attack Trigger is a big miss though; I really wished it was a defensive skill. Still, free card folks!

Best cards from the Italian League Ranking Show Time players in eFootball 2027

Here’s my tier list of the cards. Guéhi definitely stands out from the rest, while I like Giuliano Simeone’s profile much.
