Skystone Games and Nuverse have announced that Crystal of Atlan has launched its collaboration with the anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
The collaboration focuses on Public Security Section 9, the organization featured in the 2002 anime series. Its members investigate a signal originating from Atlan, leading to a new event area called the Simulated Warzone.
The Simulated Warzone is a four-player mode where participants control Tachikoma vehicles. Players compete against enemies and each other to collect Ultra Cogs, which they can use to upgrade their Tachikoma during matches. Defeated players lose some collected resources, and final rankings determine event rewards.
Additional collaboration activities include Memory Dive, where players gather Cyber Cores to progress through a series of clues, and Tactical Protocol, a reward system that uses Neurochips earned during the event.
The crossover also introduces Motoko Kusanagi as a limited-time pet and a Tachikoma mount with five available color options.
Crystal of Atlan has also increased its level cap from 70 to 80. Players who have reached level 70 can complete a breakthrough quest to access the new Hymn of Redemption adventure chapter, the Frozen Sanctuary map, and additional equipment.
The returning Doradoween Halloween event runs from October 28 through November 18, 2026. Activities include puzzles, a boss encounter with Lord Fat Ken, hidden pumpkin challenges, and seasonal rewards like Halloween-themed headwear.
Crystal of Atlan is available on mobile, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
