A Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 launch bundle that came with free replicas of the original Nintendo 64 box and Ocarina keychain is being listed on eBay for nearly $1,000 hours after launch.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Switch 2 remake November 5 launch has gotten off to a strong start, with fans queuing up at midnight to get a head start in Link’s legendary adventure.
It’s not hard to see why the return of the 2-year-old classic is getting so much attention, with the game sitting at a whopping 96 Metacritic score to become the highest-rated game of 2026.
Our 5-star review had nothing but good things to say, but the added hype has seemingly led to resellers capitalizing on the game’s popularity, with listings for a limited-edition midnight launch bundle being sold for hundreds of dollars.
$900 Ocarina of Time remake bundles appear on eBay
The bundle was originally given in limited quantities to those who attended the midnight launch and purchased the game from a Nintendo pop-up shop in an Argos store in London.
As of November 5, these bundles have already started to crop up on eBay, with resellers demanding as much as $968 for the privilege. Another listing I found showed a similarly expensive $807 price tag, while the cheapest option currently available on eBay is for a cool $260.
To put that in perspective, the most premium options here put the bundle way above The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2 console, which costs $599.00 via Walmart.
At the time of writing, none of the above bundles have sold.
However, the listings come shortly after Nintendo apologized to fans for severely underestimating demand for The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary products, with special edition Switch 2 consoles and accessories selling out around the world.
