Atlus has announced a limited-time collaboration with California-based specialty macaron shop Honey & Butter for Metaphor: ReFantazio. The event will run from November 14 through November 21, 2026, at the shop’s Irvine location.
The collaboration features nine character-inspired macarons based on the game’s cast. Each character receives a different flavor, including Milk & Honey for the protagonist, Passionfruit Yuzu for Gallica, and Cookies & Cream for Strohl.
Other flavors include Raspberry Rose for Hulkenberg, Black Sesame for Heismay, Strawberry Yuzu for Junah, and Butter Pretzel for Eupha. Basilio and Fidelio share a Sea Salt Dark Chocolate macaron, while Louis is represented by Cafe Latte.
Alongside the themed desserts, Honey & Butter will sell a selection of merchandise. The lineup includes T-shirts, tote bags, enamel pins, and baseball hats.
Set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, Metaphor: ReFantazio begins with the king’s assassination, sparking chaos. As the protagonist, you and your fairy companion, Galica, embark on a quest to break the curse on the kingdom’s prince while navigating a grand royal tournament to determine the next ruler.
Synthesis combines party members’ archetypes, unleashing powerful attacks at the cost of both your turn and your ally’s.
All three active party members can also use Synthesis for devastating attacks. The development team worked hard to ensure players adjust their strategies as they progress, rather than sticking to the same party configuration throughout the game.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released for Switch 2 on November 12, 2026. The title is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC.
